Britain’s Favourite Path 2026

The results are in and The Strawberry Line was voted winner of Britain’s Favourite Path by Britain’s walking charity, the Ramblers following a public vote supported by Postcode Lottery players.

Proposed by Amanda Baldwin, The Strawberry Line was one of 8 paths shortlisted for the award. Full details of this years competition can be found on the Ramblers website.

Thank you to everybody that voted for the path. It means a lot to all our members and volunteers to be acknowledged in this way, and makes the thousands of hours put into developing and maintaining the path each year worthwhile. It has taken us nearly 50 years to get this far, and with the support of our local councils (North Somerset and Somerset), parish councils, local businesses, Greenways and Cycleroutes and our many supporters, we hope one day to ‘Join the gaps’ and complete the 29 mile path from ‘The Mendips to the Sea’.
